Hello all and I am pleased to have joined.

I read many topics and having visited Altinkum several times previously took the plunge last week, spent a long weekend there, and ended up buying a small house in Akbuk.

Dont even begin to ask me where it is because I need a degree in Turkish to even read the address. Its on a new complex of about 50 homes due to be completed in May.

I fell in love with it and now I guess the fun starts !!!!!!

I will need lots of good advice to protect me from myself when I come out, hopefully May time to furnish it ...........

My name as you may have guessed is Eddy, and live in Folkestone, Kent.

Come into Akbuk from Altinkum, past the caprice, through a dip in the road where the big welcome signs are, and after a few minutes there is a fork in the road - there is a small left turn with 3 signs on a post - the complex is at the top of that road - small duplexes but a lovely roof terrace with stunning views over the bay

Hi Eddy and a warm welcome to this friendly forum. Congratulations on your new place, Akbuk does seem to be really up and coming.
