Question Visa Question

Hello,
My name is Robert and I'm a Geordie from Newcastle

I have built a villa in Belek that has been up for sale for a couple of years.
We now have someone who is interested in buying it

This trip I have been out in Belek for about 8 weeks (56 days) and I will be going back to the UK next week
I find that I will need to return pretty soon to do some work to the Villa to get it ready to sell.
I am only on a 90 day Visa and that means I have only about 34 days left and I need more time than this.
Can anybody help me?
Can I extend my Visa or get a different Visa to allow me to return to Turkey in a couple of weeks and stay for 2 to 3 months?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Robert

Re: Visa Question

Only way you can is by getting a residents permit if want to exceed the 90 days in the previous 180 day rule

Re: Visa Question

Hello Robert welcome to the forum

I don't know if you can extend visa's, I don't think you can. I am sure some TLF members will be along soon to offer their help, many of them know a lot & have experience. In the meantime There have been several posts about visa's that might help, try searching for visa's and information will come up.

Congratulations on your sale and good luck

I must have been typing at the same time as Chinook

Re: Visa Question

Hi Robert,as you may know you now need to have health insurance to gain a Residence permit. The least expensive way if you you don't want a full 12 months is to take out a holiday health cover for anything less than 12 months & apply for an RP for the same amount of time or less than your travel insurance will cover you for.
you will have to meet all the other criteria that's needed for an R.P. though.
