Adams Place
ADAMS PLACE RESTAURANT.
Does anyone know where they have moved to? They said they had to move from where they were but did not yet know, and this is at the end of Septmber, where they would be moving to.
I wondered if any 'winter holidaymakers' had come across them in their new restaurant? I expect they will be very busy getting it ready for season.

Re: Adams Place
We were at Adam's Place in October and he advised us that he thought he would be moving out of Kalkan altogether as the rent for any other premises was too expensive.
At that time he thought that he would be setting up his restaurant in or near his home village, Kaputas. Unfortunately I only really know where Kaputas Beach is - off the main Kas road and I didn't see any indication of his place or signage directing potential customers when over at New Year.
Will be looking out for him at Easter.

Re: Adams Place
My husband was in Kalkan two weeks ago and Adems Place was still for rent then,
maybe the greedy landlord will go with Adem again after all, it's a bit close to the start of the season to have no tenants in.

Hi
Adem is having is own place built next to his house which is on the Kas Road, on the corner approx 1 mile from Kelebek, opposite a a small restaurant. Thats not rumour we were there in January and saw it under construction.

Re: Adams Place
WE HAVE FOUND HIM!
There we were, walking through the Thursday market when suddenly we heard "Darling!" and we were embraced and kissed like long lost friends.
Adem had in fact found US! Yes he is up and running again just 4-5 kms outside Kalkan in an absolutely beautiful setting with stunning views. He will tell anyone all about it but be sure not to miss going there for a meal (or 3), he has worked very hard over the winter to open in time for the season.
His mobile number (and I have his permission to tell everyone) 0533 414 50 28 so give him a call when in Kalkan and he will collect you from Kalkan.
Enjoy

Re: Adams Place
Adem also does a return trip, he has had his 2 taxi cleaned up for the purpose, we saw last week just, very excited and he has employed 3 lady chef's to cook "good turkish food". The views are stunning, he says his prices are not too expensive as he is on his own property so no rent to pay. Bless him he never changes.

Sounds fantastic - will certainly have to try Adams place.
Does anyone know if we need to book? Where do his taxis collect from?
