Where is the best place in Kalkan to buy a local SIM card and how much can I expect to pay?

Re: local SIM card
Check first if you want to put a turkish sim in an english phone - we've had to buy a phone in turkey with a sim for our villa rather than using an old mobile from home. Cheapest Nokia was 110 YTL from the phone 'cabin' just as you turn left at the roundabout onto the Kalamar rd

Re: local SIM card
We brought our phone from the 'phone cabin' as well
Extremely helpful service (Errol from Kaya restaurant helped us)
They top it for us as and when needed
Similar price as stated early

Re: local SIM card
There is also avery good phone shop just down from the Yapi Kredi Bank on the left hand side heading towards the roundabout, small parade of shops/cafes they are in there just off the pavement, very helpful and a large selection of mobiles from cheapest to top grade.

Re: local SIM card
Sorry i cant remember the cost of the sim, but I do remember that it uses a units system, and the more you top up the more free units you get - very similar to pay as you talk over here.
I will put a full guide to using and purchasing a sim on my website tonight as soon as I am home, with all the numbers you need to dial to topup yourself etc
Cheers
Jon
