Kalkan members, find your neighbours
Hello to all our Kalkan members. Now you have your own forum it would be nice to hear of the places that have attracted you to the area. What are the bars/restaurants like? local places of interest etc.. look forward to your post, you never know you could meet your neighbours.

Thanks for introducing a Kalkan thread. We have been holidaying in Turkey since 1991 when we travelled around parts of Turkey on a Gulet. We have been to many different places now, but visited Kalkan just last year and fell in love with it.
We very much enjoy eating out in the evenings and cannot believe the quality of all the restuarants in the town. We usually take it in turns to pick a restaurant and then on the last night of our holiday pick our favourite. We had difficulty picking one over the others because they were all excellent although on a recent visit to Kalkan to sort out the property we are buying we discovered a restaurant called 'The Old Trading House' where the food drink and service were absolutely out of this world.
We are so looking forward to returning in May - is there anyone else on the forum who will be in Kalkan at that time?

Eileen it appears that you are spoilt for choice, good to hear you had a great time.
I have gone into your post and made the name of the restaurant bold so that it stands out for other members visiting the area.
ummm.. maybe a bars and restaurant section.
