Thumbs up Re: Kalkan Hotels

We have stayed at Hotel Nur on two occasions and been well catered for both times. They have their own website and you can book direct on line.

This season the front pool bar area and residents lounge of the Nur has been turned into a Pizza Palour, NOT the place for a romantic break methinks!!
The Meldi Hotel is well placed and personal, the Mediterrean Hotel is a luxury option as well. Lykia is very smart and the Regency is also good.

I stayed in the Kalkan Regency many years ago, and it was wonderful. Lovely views across the bay and a top service......shame I was there with my best friend and not my man!

That's very sad news Joan but thank you for the update. Do you happen to know if Baris and Bobbie are still the owners ??

Re: Kalkan Hotels

The Nur hotel now has tacky red signs all over the front advertising the Pizza franchise. You will be swimming in the pool and be surrounded by people munching on pizzas.
Avoid at all costs. They have spoiled the place.
