Kalkan Hotel Suggestions

I have an apartment near Marmaris and I'll be visiting for a couple of weeks on April 18th. We usually visit somewhere new each year for a couple of days and this time I'd like to try Kalkan. Any ideas on Hotels (budget is fine), restaurants or things to do/see would be welcome.

Re: Kalkan Hotel Suggestions

If you go onto the forum of enjoykalkan.com and the business information page of KTLN you will see lots of suggestions. There are about 130 restaurants in Kalkan and it very much depends on the type of place you want to eat at.

I like Hotel Dionysia, just outside the busy part of Kalkan whilst being a few minutes walk from the centre and the harbour. It has a roof top bar, with views across Kalkan and the bay.

True, but the rooms are small and the tea/coffee abysmal.
Try the Meldi Hotel, a minute further away than the Dionysia. It is smaller, friendly and in a quiet spot yet still close to walk everywhere. Highly recommended by those in the know.

Agree the coffee is not good. But that is the same for most hotels in Turkey. I always went out to a cafe near the harbour to get an Americano, called cafe white or some such I think. Rooms are small, but the roof terrace makes up for these failings, fantastic view and can be enhanced with an Efes or other tipple.
