Re: Restaurant in Kalkan where they serve baby spinach
Thanks Mushtaq & Linda !
Yes, I will be in Kas (not in Kalkan) from 23rd or 24th September till 27th September and I would like to visit Kalkan and the restaurant, I wonder if there will be fresh Spinach in September (any way, I wonder what Baby Spinach might be as well), can you just eat there in the evening or is it open at lunchtime ? (because I think I won't see that much of the view in the evening, it's getting dark rather early this time of year)

If you are staying in Kas, you can get fantastic turkish food at Cafe Mola, belonging to Emine, she is in the square near the electricity office. She does a great assortment of food all day long, but in the evening she cooks very authentic turish food, call in and ask her what she will be cooking that evening, and she does the best spinach dish I have ever tasted. Please tell her that Sharon & Tony sent you to see her. I promise you wont be disapointed.

Re: Restaurant in Kalkan where they serve baby spinach
Hi Sparrow,
why not visit Kalkan for the day and fit in Kurus place for lunch, you would certainly lose out if you went when it was dark, we have had baby spinach gozleme there in September before so you should be okay.
Dolmus from Kas to Kalkan is cheap and quick, there are no villages between the two so not many stops at all.

Hi
Guru Restaurant is fab, family run and all cooking done by family, what they eat you eat, fantastic views and you are made more than welcome, a favourite for the local Turks. Go for a late breakfast you could there for hours all veggie etc grown in Fatma's garden, in fact Adems is almost next door.
