I have so far had a great deal of help from this Forum and a few individuals-Thanks Maggie* but can I ask has anyone out there also bought at Karia Residence??
I feel like part of the community already, the site is brilliant thanks to the webmaster, and all on the Forum.

Re: Karia Residence-denizkoy-akbuk
Hi we are Sandra and Malc from Stevenage in Hertfordshire we bought A8 Karia Residence, a 1 bed apt, last November. Going back to Turkey April 21st for a mid term visit. Have received recent photo's and all taking shape so very excited to see how its coming along. Hope to choose furniture etc this visit and then go back early June once its completed to move in. We looked at several apartments some built and some plots in Altinkum but was never very sure and once we saw Akbuk fell in love with it even though everything was shut up it still looked a beautiful place. Hope to meet nice neighbours so please keep in touch. Only found this site by chance hope others do too :-) Sandra & Malc Lucy

Re: Karia Residence-denizkoy-akbuk
Our freinds and I have just visited the Karia residence and wanted to buy 2 duplex apartments. We went through Parador properties.
The problems started after we had agreed the price and then went to sign the contract and pay our deposit - we were told we had been shown the wrong apartments and would have to find another £10000 each!! if we wanted them as you can appreciate we walked out, and then an hour later we were told we could have them for the original price another hour passed and we had a phone call from Parador management that they still wanted us to pay another £2500 each over the original price.
We came home and complained and they are now again saying we can have them for the original price.
We don't know who to trust and our confidence in buying their has really been knocked. We loved the apartments and there location but it just appears that there is some funny business going on.
has anyone out there some advice.

Re: Karia Residence-denizkoy-akbuk
Am sure someone on this forum will point you in the right direction but I would say if in doubt - don't! Could you not buy one of these properties from another source, surely they're not all through Parador. Remember, at the moment it is a buyers market and I know quite a few people who have complained about P; good luck.

We bought through Parador and have had no problems up to now. So don't be put off too much. Maybe they did show you the wrong ones by mistake and are trying to put it right by giving it to you at the cut price.

SteveS,believe me they want to sell more than you want to buy, take your time and don't be rushed, you hold all the aces and there are lots of properties available in fact the property market is so bad for them, they should be paying you to take one.

Hi we have bought there as fell in love with Akbuk last November but not going until July to sign and move in. I have heard before someone had problems with Parador so would suggest you contact Alkan direct he is the builder tel no 00902568113031 or look up his website under Karia construction
Good luck hope to see you out there sometime soon
