Hello To All Who Visit This Forum. As I Write I Am Sitting In My Office In A Cloudy Liverpool. I Say This As I Have Just Returned From A Week Long Stay In Our New Apartment On The Karia Residence In Akbuk.

I Have Bought A Duplex Pentouhouse Overlooking The Beautiful Bay Of Akbuk. When Starting On The Journey Of Finding A Home Abroad It Was A Scary Time For Both My Partner And I. Having Now Gone Through The Process I Would Recommend It To Anyone.

We Bought Through The Karia Group Who Made The Process As Easy As Abc. The Construction Manager Alkan Demir Keeping Us Informed Of All The Developement Stages And Sending Regular Updates And Photos.

Having Bought Off Plan It Is One Thing Seeing Plans But When Those Plans Come To Fruition The Place Is Fantastic And We Are More Than Happy With What We Have Bought And It Is Our Intention To Eventually Move To The Karia Residence When We Can.

Turkey Is Such A Beautiful Country And The People Are So Friendly They Put Us Brits To Shame In My Opinion Only!!. We Have Been Offered A Rental Service By The Karia Group Who Are Able To Set Up All That Is Neeeded As Their Is A University Across The Road.

I Was A Bit Scepticle To Let Students Rent Our Home But Having Met A Number Of Students On The Complex They Were More Than Friendly And The Complex Is Regulary Inspected By The Complex Management.

I Have Found Somewhere To Spend My Retirement And Live In Beautiful Surroundings. Many Thanks To The Karia Group For Their Ongoing Assistance.

I am not quite sure if your question marks are quite cynical but yes I will be renting to students and I am sure thier will be know problems but if their is I will deal with it then.

I am not to sure where you are coming from. before i visited Turkey i read up on a lot of negativity from people who live in Turkey and I found it quite bemusing as they hadf lived there for 5 years. Now why would you live in a country that you are so negative about? Or do they want it all to themselves? Having come across this site during my research i thought it would be good to inform those who may be considering buying in Turkey what a good experience we had during the purchase process. I didnt realise my comments would cause such a stir as you are bnot the only one to be scepticle. My intention was to give an honest opinion.

Hi Annesley if you have been following the forum and the recent posts about Karia then you would understand the cynicism.
Also it was a suspect first post coming as it did immediately after the 'row' .

Normally a first post on this very friendly forum is where people introduce themselves..its not mandatory but being a very nosey ..as well as a helpful lot..we do like to know who is joining us.
Anyway dont be put off by the ''forum police'' me included..and welcome to the forum.
