Climbing Mount Olympos

Hi
we are driving to Adrasan on 19th september and planning to do a small amount of the Lycian Way and a day walking/running Mt Olympos. looking at driving up to Beycik and walking from there to the top and back. i reckon its about 20 miles in total and 4500' climbing. anyone had any experience of doing this please that they would pass on?

Re: Climbing Mount Olympos

thanks for the info. useful
we are staying in Adrasan for 4 nights and plan to walk up the second day. i have a really good satnav system with Turkey on it showing all the hills and paths. we drove ourselves to Cappadocia a few years ago and that was a good trip. just hope we can make it to the top and back to the car in a day as i reckon it will be 20 miles and nearly 5000, climbing from Beycik
