Re: Turkish for foreign students

i am sure there are decent academies in your particular area- ask them for a quote-i am sure the pricing policies of a place far away from any british conclaves is of no interest to anyone.
For English which is our main role prices are also variable because some students require more preparation than others--i teach English police officers who need international police vocabulary and it takes a lot of preparation and the rates reflect this.--general kids classes are about 7tl per student for 40 minutes --maximum of 15 a class---for turkish it starts about 100tl an hour but like i said its for people living in a city setting who normally need the language for their career.

The total cost of the course will be the standard 150 TL that is paid direct to the Halk Egitim account at T.C. Ziraat Bankasi.

İ am involved with this purely as a service to people because the government does not pay coms (i say this to alleviate being accused of financial gain in some way) and İ was asked to arrange something by my British friends.

If you wish to contact me regarding this then PM me and İ can give you further info. İ would put my tel number here but not sure if that would breach rules.

On the successful completion of the course you will recieve the government recognised certificate.

This will probably be of interest to those Dalyan, Dalaman or Ortaca because it means travelling to Ortaca 3 times a week to attend.
Hello,

I take it the course will be held somewhere in Koycegiz and not Ortaca? The last paragraph confused me a little!

What dates do you have in mind?

Thanks,

Linda

Re: Turkish for foreign students

Yes, you are correct it is in Koycegiz not Ortaca. I blame it on the temperature.

We are looking to have a meet and greet in koycegiz next week and the course hopefully starts the week after next.

if you are interested let me know.

Unfortunately I am going to the U.K soon for a few weeks, so I will have to give it a miss.

Hope it all goes well for you.

Re: Turkish for foreign students

I too can't understand why De1amo is so reticent to post the cost of the classes. I really enjoy learning Turkish and the classes I go to end up like a club with everyone having the same thing in common - wanting to speak Turkish.
So come on = just what is the price to learn this lovely language??
