Christmas in Kusadasi

Could anyone please advise me of what kind of festivities could be occuring over Christmas 2005. We own a villa at Cagkent and would love to spent next Xmas in Kus. Are there any hotels planning parties etc. Will there be many bars and restaurants open. Thank you

Hi John.... In the sense of the word Christmas, Turkiye celebrates Christmas on our New Years Day. There wont be much celebrating our Western 25th December apart from a few restaurants offering a Turkey Roast.

However, if you are prepared to partake in the Turkish Christmas (ie 1 Jan) you will find many many hotels and restaurants open where I can guarantee you will have a super time.

If anyone is going to be over here either as a resident or just for the festive season and would like to organise a meet, then just add your name here
