Question Buying in Kusadasi

Hi,
I am looking to buy somewhere in Kusadasi at the end of Jan 06. I am looking at apartments upto £28000. I have seen one which is 20 minutes from the centre and one near Bar St?. Is 20 minutes from the centre a good investment for renting or do you think Bat St is better. I have a place in Yalikavak and have not been to Kusa before. If there is anyone I could hook up with for advice I would appreciate it I will be there on the 28th Jan 06.

regards,

Bryan

Went to Kusadasi for 5 years twice a year, buying near bar street would mean lots of noise, in the height of the season would be very busy and music all night, i would for one would not like to be anywhere near there, we always stayed at Ladies Beach, you must go take a look but please remember jan is nothing compared to June July August and Sept.
Hope you find what you are looking for, we ended up buying in Altinkum.

I Agree with Sylvia.

The bar street area is very nosiy, but ti does depend how close to bar street the property is, as only a few mins walk away is some of the nicer areas of the centrum, the old town etc.

Do you know what the area 20mins out is called?

I always stay in the Ladies beach area as well, but i would imagine the prices are steeper there.

When renting, it will also depnd on your atgert market, if you want to attract a younger crowd who will spend the majority of their time in bar street, then i would go for that option, but families & couples probably wont want to be so close to the madness of it all.

Hi Bryan and a warm welcome to TLF.We live in Davutlar but go into KUsadasi very often. We love the town.Bar street tends to get very busy but it,s not to far from the lovely sea front.Lots to see and loads of good resturants bars and shops.Good luck with your purchase.

bryan,
I like pypyn own in davutlar on the outskirts of kusadasi, and would suggest the area around bar street may well be noisey, but then you may like the more lively area, it wouldn,t be far to stagger home lets put it that way
