Antalya Fires Burn 1600 Acres of Forest

Forest fires broke out in four separate areas in the southern Turkish province of Antalya Friday night, burning 1600 acres of forest.
The first fire erupted in the town of Kas on Friday night. Firefighters, backed by fire-extinguishing helicopters, are still fighting against the blaze.
In two separate fires in the town of Alanya, more than 1200 acres of forest were ravaged. The fires were brought under control.
In another forest fire, also now under control, in the town of Fenike, nearly 400 acres of forest were burned.
