Re: income for residency permit

Retirement age may be the key point as I'm past UK retirement age and wasn't asked for proof

We have renewed more than once and never been asked for proof of income although we have always supplied it. (Mugla area)
I'm guessing they probably go by date of birth on the app.
Kanga, can we supply UK bank statements as proof of income and savings, it's been 4 years since we had a Turkish RP so not up to the speed of things, as you may or may not know we will be back in the district of Mugla. We are both below state retirement age, but receiving a pension from work. xx

Re: income for residency permit

When we did ours this year we didn't have to give any evidence just told them what our pension income was and they accepted it. Might be different when we go for a 2 year one next year.....who knows as everyone seems to have a different experience

I don't know, to be fair. But if you have an annual statement from the bank, and also the annual P60 from the pension provider that should be enough. We used them before hitting the great divide!

It could be helpful if posters could give the area they applied so that perhaps we can get a picture of the differing requirements.

They will except your pension ,but it will have to be translated and notarized . But as Kanga says every area is different. There used to be signs up in the goc saying every thing had to be notarized and apostleated but in Alanya iv'e never had to do any .

Re: income for residency permit

It's not so much the area you apply in more the fact of the officer who deals with your application, whatever province you are applying in.
It's done purely on an individual basis no matter where you are.
