Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
oh ere we go.
there was murders on a thread a few weeks ago over this subject.
and for those who were involved. None of my family went to see or swim with dolphins in Florida. Instead we visited Gatorland where Crocs and Gators plus all sorts of other reptiles and dangerous creatures are sent when captured in residential areas or rescued.

Well done for not visiting the dolphins in Florida, I remember you did say your wife wanted to go but you didn't.

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
The new Dolphin Park in Turkler (just outside Alanya) hasn't even fully opened yet but when I went past today there was a couple of tour buses parked outside and a long queue to get in. It does seem that an awful lot of tourists aren't in agreement with those of us on the Forum Paddington and think it's ok to see Dolphins in captivity.

Bit of a can of worms I'd say. And while I'd agree with your principles, I would also say well at least they are in a safe environment and not being drowned in trawler nets. In an ideal world, yes they should be free, but then again all captive animals should be too.

Thanks Peter thats really helpfull, Adaland looks fab, although i think they will be giving the dolphins a miss i agree with you i think that is too much money to ask for 6 minutes, never mind i am sure our family and visitors will have a great time.
Cheers
