Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
Has anybody visited the Dolphin park yet? The website doesn't give much info ie: admission prices etc.
My wife has an ambition to swim with Dolphins and this looks like n ideal opportunity

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
It's 40ytl to get into Adaland, 30ytl to get into the dolphin park and a further 120ytl to swim with them. For that amount of money I would expect to be able to bring the dolphin home.

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
Thanks for that Jane. I suppose it's a bit over the top asking people to pay to go into the dolphin show, but £40 to swim with them isn't bad actually.
I think we'll be going for it because it's something Denise has always wanted to do.
Ps- Are there reductions for children? .. we'll have a four year old in tow.
Edit: I e mailed Adaland and they replied surprisingly quickly

Hi and thanks for your interest to the biggest aquapark in Europe.
2006 prices for aquapark entrance is as follows :
20 euro for 9 age and up,
13 euro fror 4-9 age
free for 0-3 age
Our park opens at 10:00 and closes at 18:00 everyday of the week(in july-august closing time is 19:00)
Normally we are closing our aquapark on the first week of october up to weather conditions, dolphinpark closing date is not planned yet, please get in touch again before your arrival, or check our website, it will be announced on our index page.
Adaland Dolphinpark is open now. It is located just next to our aquapark,
you can come to aquapark and dolphinpark seperately or you can come to
aquapark and dolphinpark at the same time. There is a gate openning to
Dolphinpark from the aquapark, so if you visit aquapark you can buy your
dolphinpark ticket from inside and pass to Dolphinpark.
We have three dolphins and four seals in Adaland Dolphinpark.
Show times: Except Monday's , everyday at 12:00 and 17:00 --- 2 shows appr.
45 - 50 minutes each
The entrance prices for Adaland Dolphinpark is 0 -3 free , 4-9 age is 12
euro , 9 age and up is 15 euro
After the shows you will have a chance to swim with dolphins. (except
Monday's)
This unforgettable experience costs 120 YTL (appr 60 euro) with two or three
dolphins. (one person can be in the pool during the swimming )The person
must know swimming well, and can stay in the pool by himself/herself. Also
swimmer should be less than 90kg.
If you are going to attend the shows, please buy your swimming ticket from
the information at Dolphinpark, before the show begins. Cause the tickets
will arrange your queue, we have limited swimming after each show ( 10
person for each) so if you buy your ticket early you will have more chance
to swim with them.
Our park is located just 8 km away from Kusadasi center, you can take a taxi
or come by a midi public bus (called dolmush), you will see the Adaland
stickers on both sides of the dolmush and take one of them to come to our
park.
Enjoy your splash day!

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
I went there in July - as water parks go it was pretty good. Not crowded and som pretty good rides
we didnt do the dolphin bit as it was an additional expense and there seemed some confusion over what the swimming with dolphins bit was
if you go do let us know how you got on
Thurstan
PS went to Miami and swam with Flipper - was really good. You have to be a good swimmer tho'

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
Hello
Sounds worth visiting. I think the fee is ok. It was £100 to swim with Dolphins when I went to Cancun 3 years ago. This did not include entrance fees. So I did not do it as I thought it was a rip off. £40 is worth it I think.

Went in July had a brilliant day when you consider you spend the full day there it's very resonable. Iam not a good swimmer but still enjoyed the day.

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
Hi there just doing some research on the Adaland Aqua park to find out if you are allowed to bring food and drinks in or is it like our Altinkum one where no food or drink are allowed?
Also has anyone on the Forum swam with the dolphins and if so how long do you get in the water with them?
Many Thanks
Anne

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
No, food & drink is strictly banned I'm afraid. And you only get a very limited time with the Dolphins, about 6 minutes I believe. Oh and you aren't allowed to video OR photograph it!!! Rip off if you ask me.

Re: Adaland Dolphinpark info wanted
Shame on you all for going to a dolphin park.
Dolphins should be free to swim in the sea as nature intended and NOT for the pleasure of people with very little brain who think this is entertainment. It is not, it is cruel and don't be fooled by people saying that the dolphins are happy, they are not, they are intelligent creatures and should never be kept in pools which are like a prison to them.
There is another thread on the forum about the dolphin park near Bodrum where members have made their displeasure of this "entertainment" known.
