I heard some people say that Migros are opening a store in Akbuk, at the moment there is a small super market there and small local shops.

Does anyone know any more info about this?

Akbuk is full of French people someone said Mushtaq? Is that true also on the Migros thing lets all spread the rumour then if enough people do they will have to....Da Da da da!!
Maybe not a good idea after all but I did try!

PS Akbuk is still a lovely place and if we dont buy land on the Bodrum Peninsula it will definately be Akbuk

Have Villa in Altinkum in the valley behind the main Police Station. Hope to relocate within next 12 months

Mushtaq has a house in Akbuk Duke, very nice, I love the area, very quiet and picturesque.

The arae is now becoming more familiar with British and who knows the future is "orange"

The only downside is the lack of a decent supermarket lol so hopefully this will be good for the area but lets hope it doesnt get spoilt.

There are quite a few French tourists in Akbuk, as they have a holiday complex at the far end of the Akbuk beach. A few eating places we went to, the staff spoke more french then English.

Looks great Mushtaq. We are that side of Altinkum and I think can see the place when we walk further along the sea shore. About how far would you say it is by road? and does the dolmus go through from Altinkie Florrie

Hi my user name is "florrie" as stated have been a Florist for some 3 years self employed withown shop next to our home here. My idea of heaven as spent twenty good years in the N.H.S. and Social Services,but had to do a lot of traveling. Now can fall out of bed and be at work! Welcome to the forum, you are right you can see Akbuk from that side of Altinkum and the domus does go to Akbuk from Altinkum, the one with Akbuk-Didim-Altinkum on the front.
