English woman ranks top in tax returns list....

An English woman working in real-estate ranked top in the annual tax returns list in Didim, Aydin. Clare Walker-Tatlici, 34, who has been married to her Turkish husband, Nedret Tatlici for seven years, has been living in Turkey for the last 12 years.

"I make out an invoice for everything I do," Ms. Tatlici said, "and I earn quite well. It is only natural that I return the appropriate amount of tax."

Ms. Walker-Tatlici owns a real-estate company called Turkish Homes and made the list of honors on tax returns with an income tax amounting to 77,100 YTL.

"I was doing consultancy for an English company before I got married," Ms.Tatlici said. "Then I met my husband, who was a sailor. I travelled with him for three years. Later on I decided to do something to do with real-estate. Things progressed much faster than we had anticipated. I opened up a branch of Turkish Homes in England, for my family. They started sending us customers."

Ms. Tatlici said she felt honored and delighted for ranking top in the list. "I pay tax for every penny I deal with. And I sleep in peace."

They all should fire thier accountants! You can always prevent paying taxes by over accrualling on costs and making minimum profit and offsetting any tax allowance on R&D.[8D]
