Want to rent a car - long term (Alanya/Antalya etc.)
I am looking to rent a car for the summer/autumn .. maybe longer. I live in Alanya so it needs to be within reasonable driving distance. I am 39 years old, and a Norwegian citizen and will be the only driver.
I am looking for a reasonable car in good driving condition. Anything of interest, but insurance and paperwork must be in order. May be old, shabby and small as long as its in good technical shape.
I don't need a car all the time so if the car is needed for a period during the summer that's no problem. I don't wish to buy a car myself as I am not certain about how long i will be living here, but it gets too expensive to use Avis every time I need a car.

I think they charged 70 ytl for a newish Fiat Palio last time I rented. But that included free milage and in case of any damage to the car there were no excess to be payed. I also feel more comfortable renting from a big international firm than from a local firm that I know nothing about... but perhaps I'm being too cautious?

we have free mileage and full cdw ins .i have hired from same local firm for 4 years no prob at 50 ytl a day plus they will meet you at va/port and drive your car to where you are going and then leave you with the car .very handy if you arrive at 3 am and do not want to drive ,or are not sure where you are going .
