Talking cost of a maid

I have not used a maids services for a couple of years but thought it might be a good idea to get one again. I have been quoted 50ytl for the day, is this the going rate, it seems high to me but am I being miserly. The last one I had used to whip through the house missing more than doing and finished by about 3pm and expected to be paid for a full days work. Advice would be gratefully received.

İ'd pay about 25-30 and stipulate all the jobs that need doing. İf İ wasn't satisfied İ would not pay. But easy for me to say cos İ have a free one - hubby and before you start Terry no he doesn't do one of those in the niff dusting services!
