we bought ours off plan and were told the maintenance fees would be between £25-30
per month but we had nothing in writing,when the complex was completed hey presto £58 per month.we are in fethiye area and bought of HH.
i think they try it on as suggested in other posts to see how far they can go with the fees.

I have just sold my villa in Kusadasi on a complex of 15 villa's where I paid £1,200 per year for the maintenance fee's. I did query this at the time and said it was rather expensive and was told that this was what everyone on the complex pays and I was shown a piece of paper which was the outcome of a meeting they hold every year (presumably the AGM) with a breakdown of all costs for the complex. I begrudingly handed over the money but still feel it was an awful lot of money to pay for maintenance fee's for the year!!

i thought people were buying property in turkey because of it being cheap but if you have to pay that kind of money out whats the point the council tax here is bad enough . but it seems no different to that to me im pleased i bought a turkish house 9 pounds a yr tax. elec water . thats enough for me
