Re: Laundry
my plan is to have 2 sets of towels and bed linen and have the property management arm of the estate agent clean the place and do the laundry after each set of people. The charge is reasonable so even after we go its worth paying it
There are a number of companies that offer that sort of service - have a look at the websites of local agents

Re: Laundry
I don't rent out but sometimes let friends and family stay there with the stipulation that they just pay for a maid at the end. They pay the maid for the day and for that she also does the washing and ironing. I did wonder how it would all get done but of course washing dries so quickly in the summer. I suppose that would not be so good if you were wanting quick changeovers when one lot of guests leave and more come on the same day.

Re: Laundry
Ah now that's a tricky one as you have to have someone you can trust. You ask around, if you have some Turkish friends they are almost bound to know someone. I think last year we paid YTL20 plus another 5 for her to do the ironing. I think in most of the bigger places you will find villa management companies. There are some advertising on here. In Datca there isn't really a company doing it yet so we didn't have that option. I think if I was renting out properly I would want one of these companies as they perform all sorts of other services to help things run smoothly.

Re: Laundry
Yes she was a star. She cleaned the house in October and when I arrived in March it was still looking pretty good. The house is quite small and probably wouldn't have taken her all day.

Re: Laundry
my agent charges £30 for a "changeover"
seems like a reasonable price from what the rest have said
