Question Moving In - First Cost

Hello All,

My apartment in Didim is finished and we need to furnish it and maybe live there for a week or so.

Does anybody know - if we get the keys and move in for one week - what bills I should expect at the end of our short stay - (water for one week, electricity for one week, mainetenance till the end of the year etc???).

I suspect that upon taking my keys I will have to pay full maintenance charge every month - even if nobody would live there after.

Your advise is appreciated (Will give me idea of how much cash to bring in...)

regards
s

Solo,

You will be expexted to pay maintenance regardless of whether or not you stay in your apartment, most maintennance cost cover the pool, gardens. cleaning , stairwells etc.

The water and electric for just one week would be very minimal (unless you leave air conditioning on 24/7) electricity and water is very cheap compared to the UK.

I would recommend you book into a hotel while you shop for furniture - unless you buy it off the net and have it installed before you arrive

I was in the same position as you just over a year ago. We stayed in the Alternesan Hotel in Altinkum while we purchased the furnture, curtains light fittings etc. It gives you a bit more time to shop around'
