well we have sold or stored all our worldly goods and move in with my mum on the 19th january not for to long I hope .Kevin and I will be flying out on the 2nd of febuary for 2 weeks to get rental agreement on the bar notorised and look at properties to rent we will then be coming back to England untill the 1st week in April seemed silly to give our jobs up untill everything sorted legally and daft to move untill start of season as tempting as it is so here goes just wanted you to have a look at check list of things to sort in feb and April if missed anything out would like to know.
1,Open bank accounts sterling and lira.
2,heath insurance.
3,Apply for 2 year residence permit( need 4 passport photos each )
4,talk to CB about Tutor for Missy.
5,Find English speaking accountant.
6,Find English speaking solicitor.
7,Register with British Consulate In Marmaris.
8,Get Tax number.
9,Buy Furniture If needed
10,sort suppliers For bar
11,find cash and carry (been told Tesbos in Marmaris)
12,Find Good cheap garden centre (need lots of plants for bar in terracota tubs)
13,Apply student visa
If anyone out there can help at all or thinks I have missed anything out please let me know I need all the help I can get because my head might explode at the moment also the butterflies have gone mad .

Hi sorry Bar will be in Turunc and untill all is signed sealed and delivered would like to keep the name quiet at the moment these small villages are a hot bed of gossip but thanks for the good wishes

Hi Andy yes will still be running holidaybuddy but just sticking to flights and anyone in Turkey wanting to go on holiday in the winter Expats ect also have had some intrest in Turunc from one of the local real estate agents to see if I can find cheap flights for Inspection trips so should keep me busy in the winter I hope it really is just a hobby for me .

Hi, my family have just returned from Turunc 8th Jan 07 take WARM clothes and wellies, because when it rains it RAINS. they only had 1 wet day in 3 weeks but it was torrential and the wet season has to come yet.

DIL said it was extremely cold at night when the sun went down about 4pm, they were not fully prepared for the night time temperatures.

Also Turunc empty, difficulty in getting to Marmaris as the dolmus full of children going to school, if you have a car or private transport ok, otherwise you may experience delays.

Only place open for eating out if ordered the day previous was the Green Garden, Habit drinks only.

Have not seen family yet, only spoke to them on the phone.

Hope all goes well, and will no doubt see you in May when you tell us the name of the bar.
