Hi,
we have friends visiting us in Turgutreis, for a few days and then have to travel back to Icmeler.
Rather than take the bus back they were thinking about taking the ferry Bodrum-Datca.
When they arrive in Datca is there a bus service that can take them to either Marmaris or Icmeler and how long does it take.
Hope someone can help with this info .

hi carol and raymond just googled datca to marmaris there is a bus every hour journey time says 75 minutes how are you two settling in to the turkish life style . make sure neil doesnt drink paddys dry lol gordon

Gordon neil says hi having a great time ,Paddy,s still has Efes there just.
Really enjoying our time here settled in well , Neil says journey from Marmaris to here was 3.5 hrs by coach just 15 ytl but they enjoyed journey and looking forward to going back on ferry, something different price on ferry back 25ytl each one way to Datca.

the ferry will land at Kormen and they will have to catch a local bus to the main raod and pick up the Datca bus from there. The scenery on the ride to marmaris is some of the most beautiful in Turkey.
There is also a ferry that goes to Camli, just outside of marmaris.

last year there was a free bus service that ran from kormen
to the ferry booking office by the harbour in datca, your friends
may want to use, that way they will see Datca it would be a
shame to miss it

Does anyone know the cost of taking a car on the ferry this year??
and is it still running 9am and 5pm from datca
