Re: Dalyan question
Maviska, river dolmus will still be running in september, think they run till the end of October. Not sure the start time but can find out for you, I believe it is around 9am. I actually prefer the other end of the beach reached by ordinary Dolmus but there is not that much between them and the views from the boat are great. make sure you get on one of the co-operative boats, they have a sign on the front of the boat cover.
Don't know a lot about ekincik I'm afraid, but think it is more noted as a snorkelling area.

Re: Dalyan question
Yes boats start at around 9am and they tend to leave when full enough to make the trip. Ekincik is a nice day out on the boat with some nice swimming/snorkelling stops, I don't think there is much to see in the village itself but then again I'm normally having too much fun swimming to go and explore.
Regarding Iztuzu beach, we prefer the boat end as we've young kids and they find it better swimming off the back of the beach as the front can get quite wavy. Also the front of the beach is very shallow and you need to get out quite a way to be able to swim well.

Re: Dalyan question
thank you for information! not sure we will like river dolmus who knows then when it will be full. we have a small baby so we'd better to go to the beach by car and have a private boat trip as we had it once in June. I thought there was no road to the beach...we will have to find it...

We went to Ekincik by car which is quite a long drive via Koycegiz and Hamitkoy. We drove down to the waterfront and it was such an anti-cliamx that we turned the car round and headed off back towards Koycegiz Lake. However, it may take on a different persona when arriving by boat. Ones mans meat is another mans poison as they say.

Re: Dalyan question
Went fishing there (ekincik) but didn't catch anything, you can catch barracuda off the small island near the beach in Dalyan (boat taxi end) if you have access to a boat.
Also there is a boat that does fishing trips from Dalyan but I don't know what they are like as I go with my friend who has his own boat.
