Restaurants in Turunc - recommendations?

Hello,

I will be staying in Turunc for a week in early August, can anyone recommend any restaurants? I eat fish, meat, veggies - anything that is prepared well with fresh ingredients! Also enjoy food in the style of Turkish "homecooking".

Re: Restaurants in Turunc - recommendations?

We stayed in Turunc a few weeks ago, and when not eating in our hotel Zeybek, we used the Cinar resturant, which is situated across from the Mosque/Sok Supermarket. Its a typical turkish resturant, which had a great choice of local/european food and also very good prices. But you will be spoilt for choice in Turunc with resturants,

We will be there in 2 days :-)

If your looking for a great steak or curry then Pasha is the place, middle of the road then Korfez will do the trick, or if you want to push the boat out then Jesure at the Han will sort you out.
Enjoy your stay.

For a friendly bar and snacks, you can,t beat the Pallete bar at the croosroads up from the boats. Ali and hs staff will make you most welcome.

Menems (spelling is wrong for sure) on the front next door to Korfez is my pick for 2012, its the size of a postage stamp but the food and views/ambience are SO worth it. Elifs across the road from Mayden bar in the middle of town also a favourite of ours. PM me if you want to know the ones to avoid as i won't slag them on an open forum, that would be unfair.

Cheers

Thanks, P.

Unfortunately, I am already back from Turunc! We had a lovely time - no problems with food at all...

The Bozburun peninsula is just beautiful, rivalled only by Datca in my opinion. I really enjoyed the quieter atmosphere of Turunc and the beach is fantastic for swimming. I could have easily spent many more days there...
