Re: Planned visit to Akyaka/Gokova?

I will be back in AKYAKA 5th June. I'm counting the days and am loooking forward to trying the Kazan restaurant (aswell as our favourites the Golden Roof and The Sikadim) Already a member at Akyaka.org and any other Akyaka website I think. Can't get enough of the place. Just wish we could afford a property but what we would want seems to be a bit out of our price range.

Hello Hifi: June 4th is "Keep Akyaka Clean" day...volunteers will be wandering about with gloves and bags in hand...just in time for your return. Be sure and stop in at the Golden Roof to welcome Sarah, the lovely newlywed in their family! Hopefully we will be able to meet you for cay at some point during your visit. Lynn and Nige in town at the same time...a gathering?

Hello again: We live across the road from the Idyma hotel,
(side entrance) #39,
also across the street from Nige and Lynn and 5 doors from
the homes of Jenny, Conrad, Sue and within shouting
distance of Dobbs.(On this street expats,
outnumber the Turkish residents)..
Looking forward to meeting you.

I know its difficult to arrange but if you suggest a time and place to meet up for a drink or whatever I would love to put faces to names (Yas ,Nige and Lynn for example). We arrive mid afternoon on the 5th so anything from the evening of the 5th onward, fine. But be warned we are not party animals! (well I enjoy a glass or 3 of wine but no dancing on the table)

Dance on the table? I doubt at my age I could manage to climb up on it!
Don't I just wish..
Will check in with Nige and Lynn, Sat or Sunday after they have rested up
and arrange a time and place to meet on the 6th? Roof?

As in "golden roof"? Sounds good. We usually eat around 8pm as Ross starts to chew the chair legs otherwise (thats my 7 year old not my husband) so unless you post otherwise we will hopefully see you there. Should we all wear a rose or carry a rolled up newspaper!
