cost of importing car
Hi All
goldmattymiss here does anyone know how much it is to import a car into turkey we are looking at options for when we come out there and have looked at the price of some 2nd hand cars in the Mugla area and seen how expensive they are .

Answer is easy. Dont and most of the time you wont be able to anyway unless you have a work, student, investigation or retirement permit. Even if you could the deposit you leave at Turing is enough to make you run for the hills.

The depreciation is much lower in Turkey for most types of car; means it's often a better deal to buy new (get a full warranty as well, instead of balance depending on how old car is). You then get benefit of low depreciation when you come to sell.

Best not to try to bring your foreign car here. We did and it was nothing but headaches....then we ended up donating our Jeep to the Greek government. Just buy something here.......

get a new hyundai...21000 ytl and 5 years warranty.try NOT to buy second hand... shed load of problems....and grossly overpriced
