Re: bringing things over to turkey
I don't think you will have any problems, just keep the laptop in your hand luggage, otherwise it will probably get smashed on route.
Most people have taken things like those without any problems. Good luck with your move.

Re: bringing things over to turkey
thanks have tried to keep thing to a small amount that will fit in cases. The butterflies are just starting to get going but i think that is because we just want to get started with the bar and get settled as soon as possible have invested in lots of dvds for those long winters. Also can we get sky and how much is it I know some of the bars have it but is it the same as English sky?

Re: bringing things over to turkey
Good luck with you move. I have and am taking things out like griils and toasters, kettles and dvd players in my suitcases as they were mostly given to me when my mum moved to Cyprus. I cannot see the point in buying again when I already own it. She gave me loads of things which I will be taking out over the next few hols I have in Turkey. Please let us know how your big move goes.
Cheers
Rach

Re: bringing things over to turkey
Sky can be received there, but you need a huge dish, 3meter I think.
Do a search for that using the forum search facility, it has been covered a few times already.
