And I totally agree with Thurstans point regarding the exposure of the site. As with any website this will be the biggest challenge and a challenge that will require money. So while I could make the listings etc free to all there will definately need to be some kind of 'paid for' element to the website and the proceeds used to promote it. I will let you know if it gets up and running.

Darren Senior Member	Re: Free property listing website for private holiday home owners It's not so difficult to find valuations - you just need to know where to look - you can get build costs and resale prices on thousands of properties in Istanbul and on the Turquoise riviera dating back to 2005 and in some areas in Istanbul dating back to 1992.

I will of course update you if it does ever get off the ground as there is clearly a market for it.

On a slightly different note my estate agent is telling me they are not allowed to sell to foreigners at the moment, I have seen a post about this lately but cannot find this at the moment. Does anyone know the current state of play with this. Thank you.

As you know, we are buying at the moment, but we'll just be going into a queue once the new laws are passed.
