Re: Selling my Villa in Altinkum
Hi Babs wont say where it is in case someone buys it before me.....lol... The owner is holding it till April for us (İ hope he is truthful) after that date he will sell to whoever.. The size and price is right nbut İ dont want to commit just yet hopefully we will find a buyer for the Villa after İ get home and market it in Sussex & Surrey.. ( İ have to be positive must İ?) Failing that İ will have to bring more cash out in April when İ hope to drive down for the 6 months and return in September. İ dont really want to be the owner of two properties but it looks as though the resale market is pretty dormant unless your buying very old Turkish and even they are escalating as demand increases. We have sorted all the snags had all the extras fitted fully furnished it and now we want to do what we should have done before the lovely agent led us gentle by the nose to buy in Altinkum when Yesikent & Akbuk was just around the corner. How lucky current buyers are to have the advantage of all members knowledge?? İ blame Mushtaq for not having this forum set up before the other two then İ would not be selling our lovely Villa in Hunter Valley for less than we paid!

Re: Selling my Villa in Altinkum
Hi Mushtaq...LOW????? arent all valleys???? Contrary to popular belief Hunters Valley is now a well drained area that doesnt flood! Some folk had muddy puddles outside thier rented property and comlained but after the Saturday night Deluge all Altinkum was awash and under 2ft of water... however Hunters Valley was A Okay!!! When they finish the main road thro' the valley which they have already started and will be complete for next season prices there will certainly rise even if the water doesnt..lol... İve had several enquiries but we will just have to wait & see! İ would love to start the build of our Bungalow but 110k is a lot of money and we need the 65k from ther Villa to proceed so God and Forum members help?????Please. I can assure you that is the lowest we can go and you wont get a better property furnished anywhere in Turkey.

Re: Selling my Villa in Altinkum
Sorry Duke, just couldnt think of another word to describe the area behind the police station.
Once all the building work comes to an end in that area (which is soon) there should be lot less mess during winter months, at the moment because of the work and poor roads you do get a lot of mud in that area when it rains.

Re: Selling my Villa in Altinkum
That's good news about the roads in Hunters Valley. Must admit we were a little concerned when our family reported back last weekend about the conditions after the rain. I think they must have been over exaggerating!!
I am sure anyone with the money and sense (despite the roads at present) will snap up your villa, Chris and Karen.
Wishing you the very best of luck with sale.
