Re: RED BULL on POLE Again - HUNGARIAN Grand Prix 2010

Well for the first time after being on Pole Vettel got the perfect start!
Defended his position against Alonso leading the Grand Prix, only to find he got a drive through penalty during the safety car incident otherwise he was on to win the race!

Final result at todays Hungarian Grand Prix is:-

1 Mark Webber RBR-Renault 70 1.41:05.571 25 pts
2 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 70 +17.8 secs 3 18pts
3 Sebastian Vettel RBR-Renault 70 +19.2 secs 1 15pts

As Hamilton dropped out due to technical failure with his car so scored zero points today, this takes Webber to top of Championship board so far!
Making Webber take the lead in the Driver's Championship:-

1 Mark Webber Australian RBR-Renault 161 pts
2 Lewis Hamilton British McLaren-Mercedes 157 pts
3 Sebastian Vettel German RBR-Renault 151 pts
4 Jenson Button British McLaren-Mercedes 147
5 Fernando Alonso Spanish Ferrari 141
6 Felipe Massa Brazilian Ferrari 97

The Championship is so so close any one of these drivers could win it..
7 races left.......
Can't wait for the next race in 4 weeks time at
Spa-Francorchamps (29 Aug.) BELGIUM.

It was a pity Hamilton had that unfortunate blip today.

Yes it was. Fortunately it's a rare, think it only happened twice so far.

He lost potentially anything from 1-25 points. Even if he didn't win which was unlikely as the Ferraris have suddenly caught up with the Red Bulls..almost!
if he finished 6th -with Webber's 1st he'd still be leading. Sure Mclaren will sort their technical and pace issues by the next grand prix..in Spa (Love to go there!!)
