Buried alive!!!

have just read in the telegraph about the 16 year old turkish girl buried alive by her father and grandfather for having male friends!!!!!!!!!!!! her hands were bound, and there was soil in her lungs, with no trace of drugs etc, indicating she was alive and aware when she was buried!
this is truly horrific.

Yes, reading this made me realise that I have almost become de-sensitised to the almost daily reports of honour "deaths" lately- at least they are being reported and prosecuted.

BUT THIS premeditated burial goes beyond humanity.
I call for mediaeval punishment for these mediaeval types- may they be tied in their damn chicken coop and left to sit in Taksim square so we can stone them.

Write to the Turkish Consulate in UK and protest!

It's tragic.
It's disgusting and abbhorrent, and something has to be done.

But the thing is, the UKs media don't lay responsibilty at the right door. The UK's media are all for jumping up and down and condemning Turkey when TURKISH honour killings happen, but as soon as Turkey steps in to do something in the south east you only hear about the 'ostricised poverty sticken KURDS'
I think it's time to make a decision regarding this race, the PKK and their supporters and whether or not they want to live by Turkish laws, or continue their outlandish 'councils' and law enforcing tactics themselves.

Sorry if I offend anyone, but I have Kurdish friends who left the area for exactly these reasons.

Theres allways a trial or enquirey for war crimes costing 1,000 .s But these crimes are just as sick in most cases more so , I couldn't read the article , it would affect me to much but i imagine it would be horrific , Either Turkey gets it sorted out by education or give them thier own seperate country .. and disasociate themselves fron kurdistan ....Diane ...

The bottom line is this young lady was buried alive, to say my heart bleeds for her does not even come close.

I read this last night and wish I hadn't. I went to sleep crying and praying for this girl - still a child really. I am still very upset about it this morning and can't for the life of me understand how a father (or anyone for that matter, but surely worse - your own father) inflicing this pain and torture on his own flesh and blood.

I cann't begin to imagine how she was feeling, still conscious watching them shovel dirt onto her knowing her own fate. I am crying now as I am typing this. I hope they rot in hell!

What is a father thinking of when he can kill his own daughter is my first thought!!
My second thought is the WAY it was done!!
At the very least give her pills or something quick but to be BURIED ALIVE?

You just dont realise this kind of thing still exists and I think modern Turkey HAS to do something!!!
The country just wont be accepted in the 21st century until it does!!
