However you look at this, the evidence is very flawed as I believe even Microsoft has said the font used in the files were not designed at that date.

Under the orders of Chief of Turkish General Staff Gen. Necdet Özel, military prosecutors have launched a new investigation to find out who was involved in placing a hard drive, a key piece of evidence in the Balyoz (Sledgehammer) coup case, under the floor tiles of a military compound.
Turkish Bar Association (TBB) President Metin Feyzioğlu, who has been having talks with government authorities for some time now for the retrial of coup convicts, has recently stated that the conditions for the retrial of the Sledgehammer convicts have been prepared.
According to Feyzioğlu, a recent report by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) -- which suggests that the date and time had been modified in key files on a hard drive that was submitted as evidence in the case -- has helped the coup convicts to make a case for a retrial. The police found the hard drive hidden under floor tiles at the Gölcük Naval Command in 2010. It constituted key evidence against the Sledgehammer convicts.
