Good News certainly, having lived (survived) under Socialist Governments, I would not like to repeat the experience.

How did socialist free education, health and the welfare state go for you? turned it all down did you? And that horrible socialist state pension? wont be bothering there then.

mollag,
What I do know, is that my State Pension is ring-fenced, and has increased considerably under a Conservative Government, and I have contributed handsomely to my pensions.

Bill.

Never the less we all benefited from socialist ideals that you would never have seen from a capitalist government hence the dismantling of the welfare state, education, health, social housing by the present Gov, you may be all right Jack but what a terrible legacy you will leave your grandchildren.

mollag,
My Grandchildren and Greatgrandchild will be very comfortable thank you very much. Without Capitalism there wouldn't be any jobs, other than State owned, and we all know what a drain they are on the UK economy. Fortunately Margaret Thatcher saw just how much of a burden the Mineworkers were on the British economy, and with the help of Arthur Scargill killed off the NUM.

Re: Jeremy Corbyn possible reshuffle of Shadow Cabinet

Quite true , Thatcher would rather close the pits and send the money abroad buying coal dug by children as young as seven in Colombia.

However much it cost in the UK the money stayed here and was mainly spent here.

No wonder the balance of trade defecit is so high , still the Tories and their chums make money importing that which we already had. So they alone were better off.

As for a drain on the Uk economy , the Capitalist banks have had tens of billions , and nearly took the world economy down , public funds for the rich boys , Socialism and Social funding works for them.

Steve,
It's good to see that you believe that Socialism works for somebody. I don't think that it does.
