Re: UK house price crash.

Wife took a house on the books yesterday and had three offers over asking price today. No market ?
Having a laugh......

Re: UK house price crash.

I was listening to 5 Live early hours of Monday morning and the topic of another property bubble bursting in the year ahead was being predicted due to a Global manufacturing downturn... they also blame the manufacturing slump in China and the knock-on effects of economic sanctions that were placed on Russia as the main events that will trigger a slump...... combining these along with other factors the conversation suggested business interests from these countries were heavily into investing in the UK property market.

If you get a chance watch this movie when it comes out...."THE BIG SHORT"....on release at the moment on KODI.....it is based on the story of the US Prime Mortgage Scandal that caused the 2008 global crash.

Another piece of Banking Madness......When Ireland qualified for the UEFA Cup.....an Irish Bank offered loans of 30K Euro to attend the 2016 French UEFA Football finals.

The lack of responsible lending got us into the current mess.....here we go again.

Re: UK house price crash.

Big hit..then moving it back...but me thinks lots of trouble coming worldwide and I'd rather some, than none, back in my uk bank!

In reality, we are being offered in TL, what we would have wanted in an ideal world...the TL rate being what it is, has stuffed that right up...but enough is enough...bombs going off...it may only get worse!!!!!!!!!!

Cheap oil , cheap credit , still the world of unfettered capitalist free enterprise is a disaster , if ever naked self interest has a denouement , then now is the time.

The rich get ever richer , every one else pays , up against the wall with the technocrat , fat cats and failed bankers. Make their political stooges clear up the bodies and blood then shoot them too.

Re: UK house price crash.

Price Crash - not in the Coquet Valley the prices seems to be stable, perhaps
even gaining momentum.

Mild Weather, not up here, it's snowing as I type and very cold. The bonus to us
not being on mains gas is that the price of Kerosine has dropped to around 29p per litre
a couple of years ago it was 70p.

Just back to house prices and you will like this. The Prime Minister Mr Cameron
said he worries that in the future his own kids might not be able to afford to
buy a house.

Get real he is worth £30 million + Sarah his wife probably more and her Step Dad is
loaded, in a different league. So he isn't going to help them on the Property Ladder ??
