Help with banking.

My father used to live in fetiyhe and he had a bank account with finansbank, anyway he had to return home to the uk due to serious illness. We have been trying to retrieve the money from this bank account but the finansbank have been anything but helpful any ideas as to how we would go about getting it transferred to his uk account as he now cannot even travel to turkey due to his health. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Re: Help with banking.

The only way I can see to solve this is for your father to give a power of attorney to a member of the family and for that person to go over to Turkey to withdraw or transfer the funds in person. The POA can be raised here in the UK, but you will need to look into what is needed to make it valid in Turkey.
