Add to that the amount of MPs from ALL Parties who voted for a referendum, only to do a dramatic U-turn when the result came.

Re: BREXIT - What now ?

It will make not a jot of a difference in this neck of the woods except to as ever underline the absurdity of this place being ruled by parties who don't even stand for election here

Donald Trump... Britain can get behind the EU for a trade deal.

No wonder La Therese wants a totally unnecessary election , it just get worse day after day as the truth permeates their thick heads.

Donald Trump reveals EU trade deal more important to US than deal with Britain after Brexit | London Evening Standard

One by one the beLIEvers foxes get shot.

What will be the next lie to fall .

Totally unnecessary?? It wasn't so long back that people were screaming that it was Cameron who they voted for & not May..........oops.
Unlike the excuse for the referendum result of "people never knew what they were voting for", no excuse this time around but no doubt some will find one.

Sod the rhetoric, its a stark choice of who do people want running the UK, Corbyn or May?

H'mmm, what has Boris managed to do now???

Remind me, didn't Gideon Osborne just become the Editor at the ES.....! Wouldn't expect anything else from him! We know exactly what to expect from Georgie boyz poison pen! Georgie doesn't mind working for a Russian though, in fact he seems overjoyed.....?

The EU & co are rubbing their hands with glee (again), as UK people are pulled apart & divided again.............

I noticed that Sky News have started including a journalist from the New European on the late 'what the papers say' prog..... Project Fear x 2 is up & running - God help us....

Re: BREXIT - What now ?

Just following a debate on a politics forum and a good point re Brexit came up

Someone commented why they would be voting in the GE adding they believed for Brexit negotiations " Tories would stand for the best interests of the UK"

Someone else rightly pointed out that is nonsensical as there is no such a path as " best for the UK"-what's good for example for the South East of England may be very different for Scotland here or indeed Northern parts of England

It underlines how disunited - whether you like it or not the UK has become and ( thankfully) it's going to get worse

Does your "thankfully" mean you want it to get worse?

Re: BREXIT - What now ?

Certainly

As an Irish Republican I make no apology for welcoming any opportunity for the North of Ireland to break free from the UK.

Hence why here it's a totally irony that Madmay and her slavish appeasement of the raving right of her party is effectively assisting our case here in exposing how little we matter to Britain, how there is no " United" Kingdom and the fact despite our differences here we would be better off with unity on this island running our own affairs-than as a nuisance after thought under a chinless wonder South of England Tory clique
