Re: BREXIT - What now ?

Our 11 year old Grandson put the dreaded question to his parents, "can I start walking to school on my own"? Back in the day parents would've been over the moon with that request.
They have put an App on his phone, linked to theirs & my wife's, he is monitored from the doorstep to the school, once inside the school he has to message his parents that he's actually INSIDE the school. If that message doesn't come within a certain time, phone calls are made to the school. One day his phones battery died, my daughter phoned the school & our Grandson was in the "Heads Office" crying his eyes out, why? He knew everyone would be worrying about him.
Sad sign of the times.

I so agree Phillip, it is sad that a person has to think twice before getting involved in things that natural empathy makes you want to get involved with but common fear prevents you.

Why May chose him as FS I will never know, the silver spooned toff is a laughing stock at the best of times; I cringed when she appointed him.

Re: BREXIT - What now ?

I was convinced he was set to fail, he hasn't let me down, but he isn't the man to take us forward, he just doesn't represent the majority of the country.

Re: BREXIT - What now ?

The problem BJ and most politicians have is they cannot bring it upon themselves to say they are sorry or indeed they were wrong.

A bit like some members on TLF :-)
