The video below is breathtaking for many reasons, not least for the honesty of the interviewee, 3-Star Lieutenant General Michael T. Flynn, former director of the United States Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), who served under Barack Obama for two years. He is asked whether the United States is to blame for creating ISIS and whether the "War on Terror" has become a crusade. Also discussed is torture in United States bases and why he is opposed to any deal with Iran.

He says that early on, President Obama knew that ISIS was growing but he made a “willful decision” to let the radical terror group grow unmolested and even supplied arms that he knew would go to ISIS!

At the very least giving weapons to "moderates" (how the hell do you define a "moderate" rebel?) knowing they will be transferred to ISIS is a violation of the Luga-Obama Act of 2007, which imposes strict legal controls on where and to whom the US sends weapons!

TREASON: Top General Admitting Obama Knowingly Armed ISIS - YouTube
At last a reasonable discussion on the subject Rose. (even if it isn't really your own ) ... I don't think you have any argument from me, on the fact without the invasion of Iraq and the imprisoning of Iraq's minority Sunni Islamists together with the Baathist officers from the old minority Sunni Saddam Hussein regime that the Prison system was the catalyst in radicalising Islamists, out of which ISIS rose....The Iraqi war was an illegal mistake of US policy, that helped radicalisation and recruitment in Iraqi by said policy .

So I don't understand if your so ready to accept the Iraqi model of radicalisation and your placing of the blame .. then why you do not see that when the same conditions arose in Syria were Assad imprisoned Sunni Islamist who also became radicalised in prison, later going on to become the founding members and leadership of ISIS Syria ( I gave you an example as proof in last post ) .... Maybe a Rose double standard???

The difference here was, Assad cynically released these Islamists knowing he had encouraged, and supported their radicalisation in the hope of controlling them ( it didn't work, but he still kept in contact and cooperated at time when mutual to both parties ....as seen in Palmyra ) . He knew their usual M.O. of taking over moderate Muslim groups either radicalising them or killing their moderate leaders. Assad didn't know how far they would rise in strength and influence.

ISIS thinking is .... on Muslim Rebel groups, is Islam’s internal ranks must first be purged from impurities before fighting the non-believers.

( Many Westerners forget that not all Muslims are radical, so it would be the norm within the uprising in Syria it being a majority Muslim country, that some of the opposition Rebel groups would base themselves on their own moderate religious views .... before radicalisation either by their Sunni sponsor and weapon suppliers, Qatar, Saudi or Turkey or internally from released radicals from Assad's prison )

Flynn was right If the US was to help the rebels ( idea debatable ) it should have been in the beginning of the Syrian rising, when the majority of Rebel groups were made up of disaffected Syrians both Muslim, Christian and secular along with officer and soldier defectors from Assad's military after being asked to turn their guns on their own people. Only the Muslim Brotherhood were then the main Islamists group against Assad, insidiously gaining support as in most Muslim countries amongst Syrian working class through their social and welfare help.

That was until Assad's cynical release of radical Islamists that he had used in the past to harry Americans in Iraq in 2003.

Late to the game and influenced by Turkey/ Saudi the US started supplying the Assad opposition which by now included in flux and ever changing radicals Islamists ..... As seen in the video and highlighted by Medhi of Fynn's own narrow mindedness thinking, in which he true to many Western eyes don't differentiate any group that follows the religion from the Radicals Islamist or ISIS so in his mind the US did supply a Caliphate when in fact yes they did supply Opposition Assad islamists, but not directly nor knowingly ISIS.

Although Flynn seems to be a believable character in the interview and I don't say he is lying in fact quite plausible in part , but still to be taken into account Flynn is a convicted liar ... and once a paid lobbyist for Turkey ....

Re: Syria

I don't know why you posted a video with such content here. Apart from a small segment, it has nothing to with Syria. Perhaps you should think about starting a new thread. Then again, I don't think that would be a good idea.

What was particularly noteworthy was the technique used by the interviewer. I am not singling him out for special attention, but he is typical of the current "new media". He had an aggressive, put down style. He was constantly interrupting before the interviewee had said a few words. It was self evident he had his own agenda and was determined that his view prevailed. As I said, this interviewing technique, if you can call it that, is now commonplace in media and I find it quite obnoxious. For me, an interview is all about trying to elucidate new or unknown facts and then letting the audience decide.

If you look at the video below you can see what I mean. Not only that it confirms that the US via the CIA have since the end of WWII, constantly meddled in the internal affairs of a sovereign country for their own nefarious reasons.

But this is how the U.S. operates. They impose their own version of "freedom and democracy" and they do it with bombs and bullets. They don't care about how many innocent civilians are killed. There is nothing good or honourable about attacking and intentionally wrecking smaller, weaker countries, yet that is how the U.S. has continued to operate. There are numerous other examples of them doing this. Then they have the brazen audacity to claim they are a force for good.

Millions of slaughtered innocents are screaming for justice from their graves.

I do hope you wont object if I make minor changes to your post and that I am not taking this thread too far off course.

Re: Syria

In the following link: https://freespeechdefense.net/2017/0...eing-censored/ there is an amazing video that cannot be found on YouTube or other similar video sites. That will infer it is very damaging to TPTB because it is the truth.

It is a documentary by a Bulgarian TV channel that goes up close and personal with an ISIS rebel group. It is indisputable that they are using the deadly TOW anti-tank missiles that was recently used in an attack against British troops last week. These weapons were supplied on the authority of Obama. They also received training in the use of the weapons. The leaders also confirmed they were receiving support from 15 foreign intelligence agencies.

Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Strange logic, how do you arrive at that conclusion?

Im pointing out that your posts always follow the Kremlin agenda with never a word of criticism - initially amusing but terminally tedious.
