Re: Catalan Referendum

How anyone could seek to lay this madness at the feet of the EU is beyond belief , it just shows how desperate those sold out by the leave lies are.

We pray for those Spaniards so brutalised by a cruel NATIONAL government .

Re: Catalan Referendum

It seems they want to break away from a controlling central government, then join the EU as an individual country, controlled by Brussels which wants a centrally controlled super-state. Not orchestrated by EU, but will certainly be opposed by them.

If it were allowed, then the Basques will want the same deal, then Scotland. Why not?

Thank you. That is the nicest thing said to me today.

I´ve just baked fruit muffins, so off to the balcony with my morning coffee before they cool.

Re: Catalan Referendum

But the EU repeatedly Tells us that anything which expresses a 'National' belief/culture/identity is Bad & must be firmly 'Discouraged', well I guess that's exactly what the world has witnessed in Catalan over the weekend!

I have lost count of number of instances within the EU where extreme violence has been meted out to peoples in their own country's for daring to voice their displeasure with the way Their countries are being managed/governed via the EU

Reports coming in that Catalan Police tried to Shield their people from the violence of the Spanish Civil Guards. Shame on All the authorities who are behaving like Franco & the Nazi regime all over again........

Catalan independence referendum illegal under Spanish constitution, European Commission confirms | The Independent

European Arrest Warrant: Anybody can be arrested anywhere within the EU without any proof for an indeterminate amount of time ..........
