Re: Tory Meltdown

MPs doing hand written letters? Now there's a thought, no wonder they're only sitting in Parliament at PMQs...........too busy writing letters.

As for MP's letters to constituents , personal ones are hand written , business letters are sent to the secretariat for being written and printed , but not on the members PC .

Steve
The not sharing passwords is in the House of Commons Staff Handbook not the members(MP's handbook)

House of Commons Staff Handbook - UK Parliament

All the letters I have received from my MP have never been hand written they have always been typed
hand written letters from a someone that you not familiar with the way they write could lead to misinterpretation

They are many ways that the MP office staff can read and reply on behalf on the MP without accessing their computer through email delegation and assuming the MP sets up rules that emails that are secret or similar go into a folder which is not available through email delegation
Likewise its possible for the MP office staff to access a MP hard drive without physical using the MP computer through the use of shared drive access
Once again setting up rules on what data they can access and what data they have no access to

Just 2 points. . .
1. The notes shown in the news are NOT a police pocket book, they are clearly private notes on A4 paper, as the size and format of the paper is different to the standard pocket book.

2. Why is it being assumed that it's ok to watch any form of porn at any time? All porn involves making a human perform degrading acts for the profit and pleasure of another. Unacceptable.

He's already admitted taking that particular notebook with him when he left the force.

Courtesy of the BBC.

"When he left the force after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Mr Lewis said the only police notebook he took with him was the one he had used during Operation Miser.

The notebook, seen by the BBC, contains a reference to pornography."

Re: Tory Meltdown

Going back to the original theme of this thread for a moment; today Mrs May came close to destroying the United Kingdom with her botched deal in Brussels. She seemed to have decided on her own to give NI to the Republic.

I donīt have many jaw-dropping moments nowadays, but as I listened to the proposed "deal" being leaked I was absolutely flabbergasted at the womanīs incompetence. She has, at every stage, given Junker everything he asked for, with nothing in return, and but for the DUP she was ready to start carving up the Union without asking anyone. I have never hidden my contempt for her as a politician, but today she reached new depths.

She will almost certainly get a back-bench revolt, and will probably be out pdq.

Saw a newspaper headline today that concisely summed it up on the Irish border deal. It read simply D.U.P.ED

GOOD OLD DUP.

It says something when you are depending on Terrorists to keep the UK together. Have you ever asked yourself why NI is part of the UK in the first place and looked at the undemocratic way in which it was brought about ? Perhaps you suffer from the Britain First mentality. IE. What's ours is ours but what's yours is ours also.

Re: Tory Meltdown

In order to keep the Dinosaur Unionist Party on-board one option may be to try and gain " convergence " for all the UK

If that is the option they go for-

1 why in God's name did they have Brexit

2 hopefully it will result in Tory implosion resulting in JC saving everyone's necks

Bad analogy Mollag; The man from Del Monte always says Yes! Whatever the cost is to consumers (allegedly)........ The eu definitely don't appear to have any problem allowing them to sell their produce over the length & breath of the eu...............
