Another slip , but not a thing to do with the subject as usual .

Tony Blair , Labour Party , by deliberately leaving out others you cover up their complicity , Proud to help cover ups are you ?

Shameful .

The only Shameful thing is your blinkered approach to Blair and the Labour Party
Every Post you make you like to make a political point out of your hatred for Theresa May and her government

And in true Leftie style you like giving it out you don't like receiving it back

We are the land of milk & money...............

TBH Oxfam is the tip of the iceberg IMO. My charity donations are food banks & shoe shine kids in Turkey. The likes of David Miliband can get his wages from someone else because its not coming out of my pocket.

Re: Oxfam

Indeed the tip of the iceberg Spurs.

I was once staying at the 5* Dhaka Hotel in Bangladesh when the troubles broke out, hundreds being slaughtered.

Meanwhile the Red Cross were sipping poolside cocktails saying that it was too dangerous to go outside.

My only charities are for animal support & the Salvation Army (please don't anyone tell me the Salvies are corrupt )

Re: Oxfam

I'm not one of them who advocates the ending of foreign aid but scrutiny of who gets it, what for & now it seems the priority is the people on the ground giving it out.
As said, this is not just about charities, the UN needs to look what its own crew has been up to.
You cant allow criminal offences to be dealt with internally in ANY organisation.

You may have good reason not to like TM but since when has ANY Sitting Government had complete control on what goes on internally in charities whilst operating abroad?
Worth pointing out that there's also been past allegations relating to those operating under the UN & NATO............is that also down to TM?
Any prime minister should have some authority and instigate investigation over charities. First and foremost the ones we give added aid to should always be scrutinised. Especially the ones we are mostly familiar with. They get millions of our money in extra aid apart from what's made on donations. They're having jollies at our expense as usual. Plus they have known about the Oxfam scandal for years and our government at the time hushed it up. I wonder why!!!!

What large organisation doesn't have these issues?
The heads of the charities themselves are the ones who should have their heads on the chopping block, after all its their staff & in some cases themselves who have been leading this sleazy life. I'm under the impression that Oxfam is a private company, not owned by government. I doubt very much if the bigwigs who run it will suffer financially, the charity itself will & of course the people who they have been famed for helping in the past.

Just leaves a bad smell.

Re: Oxfam

As a former aid worker, I’m not shocked by the Oxfam revelations

“When I read the revelations that Oxfam workers had paid for sex in Haiti, perhaps from underage girls, while the country was trying to recover from an earthquake, I wasn’t surprised. Nor was I surprised when it became clear that it had been covered up, and that further allegations of sexual abuse, bullying, harassment and intimidation in the aid sector soon followed. Don’t get me wrong – these stories are sickening – but most people in the industry will have at the very least heard rumours of this kind of behaviour….

Oh do grow up Vicky , if for once you could stick to topic and leave the Tony Blair , Gordon Brown , Rotherham schtick for a minute and open your eyes to what is going on today , then you may understand Britian better from your bunker in Turkey .

the established churches are a paedo heaven , May our PM keeps quiet and hides behind her pew in Maidenhead , hypocrite .

You can pretend all you like but men and women use sexual services the world over , in many countries it is legal , how about Haiti , have they committed a crime ?

Out of the UK , out of touch , and aggressively ignorant . You are reminiscent of someone , your slips will continue to give you away .
