Re: Valencia to the rescue

We should be asking why these countries' governments are so bad that people want to leave. We have poured money into Africa over the years and it seems like it's just kleptomaniac rulers who benefit. The ordinary folk see no changes for the better while the rulers run round in Mercedes and hold bank a/cs offshore.
Enough!

Re: Valencia to the rescue

The deal is , we support the crooked governments , they sell us cheap natural resources , and we back hand them even more money offshore , plus tea with the Queen .

If the money went for the good of the people then maybe they wouldnt leave.

Have a look and see how many Denmark, Sweden and Norway have taken in over the last 5 years . It's ruined their economy and way of life indefinitely due to the amount they took in.They are all hating every minute of it. But just like our failing government it will be left the the next party to sort it out because theirs and our parties have seriously lost the plot. And now can't put it right. The writing is on the wall.

Re: Valencia to the rescue

The sad truth is (imho), as long as the EU & other interested parties continue to aid & facilitate various Charities & NGO's in, what is, Human Trafficking, those Selling these poor sods Won't Stop doing it!....

The Charities & NGO's are now complicit in the misery of these peoples; they communicate with the Traffickers & are told when & where they'll drop them off!!!

What happened to the plans made last year to send money & body's into Libya to stop the traffickers & protect these poor souls from them!

Facilitating their arrival in Europe is Not helping anybody! I thought we had seen the last of Mass Human Slavery!!!

Re: Valencia to the rescue

The argument seems to be the very low birthrate in the countries involved , it seems we are desperate for youngsters to outweigh the costs of us " demanding " silver baby boomers . True us oldies are much more numerous , wonder what the soultion is ?

Who will do the work and pay the taxes otherwise ?

Steve, a great number of these people dont/,don't want to work. They are a strain on all of our services. You don't want me to say this but sadly it's the truth. Our doctors surgery is full of them filling in the form for registering with our doctors. None will have contributed.
