New German ?migration master plan? delayed as conservatives bicker | News | DW | 12.06.2018

The master plan could be sending refugees/migrants back to port of entry/registration. Med countries could cop it both ways via sea & land.

Re: Valencia to the rescue

Apparently....

Quote:
Hundreds of immigrants arriving aboard the Aquarius, docked yesterday afternoon in Alicante, where their children, aged between 12 and 17-years-old will be in the custody of social workers.

Several students from the local student residence are now being forced from their lodgings despite having paid their accommodation fees so the migrants, arriving from Libya, can be housed, according to the online daily Actualidad Valdepeñas................

....................“It’s like we are solving one problem by causing others, and this is a big problem because right now there is nowhere in Alicante for my son to live and continue with his studies. We are going to go there to see if we can find something, but it will be very difficult since everything is already booked for the Summer months,” she explains.

Rubén’s mother does not believe that it can be due to a “health issue” otherwise the local authorities surely wouldn’t be housing hundreds of sick migrants in the centre of a busy tourist city like Alicante.

Authorities announced on Saturday 16 June that Rubén and his colleagues only had 24 hours in which to collect their belongings and vacate the residence.

Re: Valencia to the rescue

One of the pundits on Sky this morning reckons Germany will offer Italy monies & quite possibly an offer debt relief.
IMO, there's been billions thrown into the issue over the last few years but does any of that money find its way to the locals whose own lives are disrupted? Thats the crux of it. If Madrid & Rome get cash offers, that will do nothing whatsoever when it comes to the ballot box.
Ive got fields behind me where I live, would I want a tent city or the likes put there? No. Would I like to walk around my town centre & witness some of the scenes like Greece, Italy & Spain have? No. The fact that my government was being paid would mean nothing to me...............Sooner or later a proper plan will be needed, that plan will inevitably involve going to the root of it, currently the EU are just messing about with the RESULT of it. A finger in the dam docent stop the leak forever.

Panic stations...............

https://www.politico.eu/article/junc...-on-migration/

The proverbial will hit the fan sooner rather than later. The shout now is for countries where refugees/migrants were first registered in the EU can be shipped back there..............So when Ms Merkel was telling EU members states to let these people through, they could well end up getting them back. I'm sure thats a problem creator on its own. Strong & stable Ms Merkel?

Re: Valencia to the rescue

Sailing under a Dutch flag & German NGOs on board and wanting to dock at Malta or Italy............Malta standing steadfast against taking these migrant ships into their ports. OK its only a couple of hundred people but these couple of hundreds do mount up. The problem is now, where migrants are registered is where they can be sent back to............Originally it was resister them & let them move on, then it was register them & kind of hold onto them. Is Malta looking at other countries & seeing how they've been left holding the bath water?
I keep reading that the figure of migrants crossing into Europe has dropped dramatically but pick ups still seems to be happening on a daily basis.
Sooner or later some form of action needs to be taken at the source,

All borders must be closed to migrants in all european countries NOW . Europe is completely doomed. Just ask anyone you know that lives in the European countries. I personally know quite a few and i include Turkish people and we are all going to be sentenced to a living hell sooner rather than later. I've said it before and I'll say it again .... the incompetence of our leaders have sold us up the swanny and they have no clue how to deal with these influxes of migrants, refugees etc. They don't have the balls to stand together and say " enough is enough ". Shame on these money grabbing A... licking incapable yellow bellyed so called politicians who are just getting too old, out of their depth and will walk away eventually and leave the total abhorrent mess for the next generation to sort out. Which they wont be able to do because it'll be too late. I truly despair of what we have yet to come unless something is done now. We can't keep saying that they are all welcome for they are not. As I've said before these migrants are hell bent on changing our world as we know it. It looks to me like they are succeeding and if there are those that can't see it .... well they must open their eyes and get into reality.

That theory doesn't wash with many EU citizens anymore & it appears governments are starting to listen to them. The think tanks have gone really quiet recently, could be because they live in tanks & the rest of us live in real communities.
