Re: Ant killer

The usual sprays from the local shops will knock them dead instantly. Just make sure there is not one grain of sugar left anywhere because somehow they just hone in on stuff. Good luck

Re: Ant killer

Always bring Nippon with us. Also spray regularly all round the outside of the house. This year so far we haven't had an invasion, but the weirdest thing was finding ant' nests in 2 separate watering controls in the garden. They were all round the batteries, getting extra acid perhaps?

Re: Ant killer

That's what i was thinking of but i don't think you can get it. I used to use a weed kill around the building that was band in the uk ,but it seems to be band here now also.

Re: Ant killer

From what I have read, ants cannot differentiate between baking soda and powdered sugar because they are similar in size. The sugar attracts the ants, and the baking soda is what kills them: It reacts with the acid in their digestive system and they explode.

Sorry should have said, mix the baking powder with icing sugar.

Re: Ant killer

I had loads of ants earlier this year comıng in from the baicony and going all over my worktops etc. I tried baking soda they all ran off for about a day then the next they were all just wandering through it and it didnt put them off at all. Next stop was Detan karıncakıran. Got it from Migros, that very quickly did the trick. Sprayed all the places they come in and the balcony areas ı'd seen them. They disappeared immediately and not seen one since.
