Oh dear, file under urban myths then .
Obviously that is always a possibility, unless anyone with some very good search skills would like to attempt it, but then i suppose if found to be correct the doubting Thomass' on here would not like being seen to not believing me so no chance of them searching.

Well call me doubting Thomas cos it rang wrong to me, so I searched the net to no avail, hence my giving you the opportunity to validate your claim, try it yourself, your claim, your job to validate it, as I said, it smells of typical right wing urban myth to me.

Oldfogy, if you are relying on others to verify the facts on your posts could I suggest you either do the research yourself before posting or refrain from posting something that you are not sure to be the truth.
By the way I do agree that foreign aid needs to be looked at, I really can't see the justification of sending aid to countries with booming economies, neither do I believe in sending aid to countries involved in civil wars. There always seem to be funds for Toyota Landcruisers and people sitting on them holding sophisticated weapons, meanwhile people starve.

Haha, still laughing at that Bramidan. If members did do that then a lot of the posts on this forum would not be here.

If a link is posted from the DM does that count?

Not the ones Oldfogy refers to but many do end up eating their seeds.

OK on that basis can I state that it is a well known fact that the reports in the Daily Mail are simply written to appeal to their readers and the journalists are taught " don't let the facts spoil a good story"
